Weight loss Challenge fun

So starting September 9th (my dad's birthday) my job is launching a weightloss challenge for municipal employees and I am part of the team. Well they are making it fun this time around with music, dancing and all of the above... My boss has personally asked me to sing the lyrics to the song she is making up. I am so excited cause people will get to see my fun side.

It's the first time I participate really with my co-workers cause I usually keep to myself. Of course we have a few rotten eggs who can never join in the crowd. But that is not important right now. Lol. So look out for it, I will be posting my video on here and my other blogs and facebook page too.

Thought I'd share that since it is my blog anyways right? :)

I knew it...

So I kind of knew that by the time Irene reached around here it was going to be but a mere tropical storm. Lots of people were in a frenzy. The south of Jersey was severely affected but not to the point that we have a death toll. Hurricanes are scary I must admit but in the North the damage is not as serious.

Anyways. Hope everyone enjoys this Sunday. I will probably blog later tonight.

Hurricane Irene

We're a midst of the hurricane that's suppose to destroy the East coast. I am ready for this thing. When I was younger just the word "Hurricane" would scare the shit out of me... I grew out of that stage. Yes it is a bit scary but I am with my family, I have nothing to fear if they are around. 

We went food shopping last night and we have sufficient food to last us the 48-72 hours we are locked in. Plus I have my downstairs neighbor's food to invade. Lol. 

Well I am going to go prance like a unicorn and watch television til the power goes out.
